AMS Intake Manifolds
The AMS VSR intake manifold (patent pending) was developed from extensive engineering, R&D and dyno testing. A large capacity oval plenum acts as a pressure reservoir for each cylinder to draw air at high airflow rates. This allows for better air distribution and airflow compared to the stock intake manifold.
The plenum base has large radius air horns to direct as much air as possible into the runners. This Velocity Stack Runner design has been optimized and tested on the dynomometer to give maximum results. The plenum base and head flange are beautifully CNC machined for a perfect fit. Each intake manifold is assembled, welded and pressure tested to over 40psi in a jig. High stress points are stitch welded from the inside to increase burst strength.
The AMS VSR intake manifold is a must for any evo with an aftermarket turbo, allowing for strong clean pulls to 9500+ rpm on race engines. Gains depend on state of tune and engine specifications. Expect from 10-60whp on stock turbo to full race setups.
Everything is included in the intake kit for a hassle free installation. Gaskets, bolts, vacuum fittings, and even a new custom dip-stick tube is provided.
